First, it is one of the best museum in the DC area. Better than the air and space museum in DC. Abrguably better laid out than air and space museum annex at Dulles, but its tough to beat space shuittles and the SR71.
Second, and most important – there is a huge admission in the story + that the museum contains a Mayflower gun which proves forearms have ALWAYS been a part of the US’s traditions.
My company sponsors the keynote speaker at a trade association convention every year. One year Ollie was the keynote. I also served on the board of the association’s foundation and we were worried that after Ollie’s speech, folks would bolt the meeting and not stick around for our part of the program.
Without being asked, Ollie told the crowd that he would stick around for autographs after his talk, but that he wanted to see the foundation program first.
I’ll always remember how considerate he was – not to mention how much credit my company got for the great speech he gave. (Obviously it’s a pretty conservative industry.)

Two things worth mentioning.

Second, and most important – there is a huge admission in the story + that the museum contains a Mayflower gun which proves forearms have ALWAYS been a part of the US’s traditions.
