OC in Idaho Update
Mentioned here, Chad comments:
As a guy who lives hand to mouth, I don’t have the resources to sue. If you know of an attorney, feel free to send him on over. I don’t mind going after them. I do mind neglecting work and family responsibilities.
So any help is appreciated.

He does sound that he has the energy to pursue it administratively and legislatively, and that’s what he should do. Not every solution to a problem needs to come from a judge?
What would he get from court anyway? At best, a court decree telling those particular police not to harass people carrying guns where they otherwise have a lawful right to be. His lawyer might get a third of the attorney fee he would otherwise charge. That’s all.
Pushing for a policy change, through channels, is the best way to go. We are too much a kritocracy as it is because we neglect our democracy.

THIS is what i’m saying. It’s not like Uncle doesn’t post about lawyers helping the 2a cause all the time; and i’m sure the people they’re representing aren’t rich, either. Just giving up and letting them get away with it is exactly the wrong answer all the time.

ATLien, if he had just “given up” then you wouldn’t be talking about this because he never would have posted his email exchange on his website for it to be read and linked to because he never would have pursued an email exchange in the first place, or blogged about his experience. Not everything short of all out litigation is rolling over and giving up.
