Neat. But a reminder: using plastic pipe to hold compressed air is not exactly safe for the people in the vicinity of the pipe; if the pipe fails it can put shrapnel in the air — and maybe into your hide. The failure mode with pressurized air is different than with pressurized liquid.
Amusingly enough, probably not a firearm in NJ; projectile is larger than 3/8″. Otherwise it would be considered a firearm due to being an airgun capable of inflicting harm..
