Of course they do
The media is breaking out the coverage of Mayors Against Guns as the poor put upon mayor v. the big nasty NRA. Too bad the press could have done a bit of research and seen why folks are a bit upset about this.

Bloomberg suckered those anti-gun rights fools into putting their names onto a political hit list for his own glorification, but it’s the NRA’s fault?
Bloomberg can strut around the NYC cocktail party circuit, boasting of the size of his organization, while his foolish stooges get voted out of office, one after another, and then get the feeling that they’ve been used and discarded like the billionaire’s playthings that they were.
Fortunately, Bloomie’s ego is more important to him than being effective. If he had sneaked around getting secret promises of support, we’d be worse off. As is, he’s publicly outed a long list of anti-gun rights people who might have remained closeted. That list is now in our hands. Thank you, Michael!

Don’t forget that MAIG is funded (from the begining) by grants from the Joyce Foundation.
The same Joyce that funds Freedom States Alliance (Gun Guys), Violence Policy Center, and Legal Community Against Violence.
