I got excited, The PM45 is on the top of my “WANT!” list as a go-to pocket gun. But with the manual safety it’s a deal breaker. My S&W642 has no need for a thumb safety, and is perfectly acceptable for Mass sale. The Kahr functions almost identically to this gun, so adding the safety simply adds another failure point, and one other thing I’d need to futz with, or something that could change orientation during carry.
I could give a shit about the loaded chamber indicator. It’s a worthless safety device that actually could cause injury if the piece was to fail and somebody was dumb enough to trust it rather than doing a simple brass check.

Note: Just because a handgun is on the Approved Firearms Roster doesn’t mean they can be sold in MA.
Welcome to MA. Freedom was born – and died – here.

Also Jay’s 100% right, the PM49 is already on the tested approved list, but not OK’d by the AG

As is the bulk of Kahr’s line-up.
I’ll just wait until this bullshit law is stuck down, thanks.
