Choice
Back when the legislature was in the process of passing the guns in restaurants that serve alcohol bill, one of the vocal opponents of that bill was Mike Chase. Mike Chase yammered on about Wild West shootouts and whatnot along with a host of other ‘ifs’. (So, Mike, how many shootouts you had?).
Anyway, I find it ironic that this righteous crusader reportedly hasn’t banned guns at his own establishments.

Not “choice”, “hypocracy”.

I have to believe that he hasn’t posted a sign in the hopes that something will happen to prove him right.

Sadly, David, you are probably not far off the mark. I have been meaning to swing by the one closest to me for a while now, but I have gotten two reports from separate people concerning the lack of signage…
I have to admit, it certainly weakens his position about how important keeping firearms out of restaurants that serve alcohol is…

Before the law, he could claim his hands were tied and so don’t blame him. Now he has to make a decision and be known by it. So, he opts to not lose any CCW customers or just plain unarmed freedom lovers by declaring himself in a substantive way.
Want hypocrisy with that?

I guess since wildwest shootouts BY CARRY PERMIT HOLDERS were not happening at grocery stores, fastfood establishments and other non-alcoholic restaurants, service stations, liquor stores, all along the highways and byways, etc, etc, etc that maybe some of the anti-self defense bigots have finally figured out it ain’t hapeenin’ at their restaurants that serve alcohol. The only danger in this alleged “alcohol and guns mix” is when someone leaves one of these restaurants and drives away drunk. As the question goes, “whose gonna polcie that? “
