Not counting the liberals that go in as strawman-conservatives and edit articles there, Conservapedia is kind of “our side’s” DU. If their servers were to die tomorrow I actually think it’d be that removing-a-rock-from-your-chest feeling people describe when the Doctors say “the tests came back negative”. Hell, I’d be happy if it drop the associations with political conservatism and set itself up as a pure young-Earth creationism wiki. Take out a few Praise Dubyas and that’s what they are now anyway.

One group tries to make the Bible more conservative, the other says it’s flat-out socialist.
To quote Mark Knopfler, “Two man saying they’re Jesus, one of them must be wrong.”

Well, it’s possible that both are wrong.
But that depends on Jesus being someone who can’t quite fit on that modern divide.

I believe there are some modern translations that eschew gender differentiation and are inclusive of a feminist Deity plausibility kinda thing…

The best quote about who’s right and who’s wrong came from, of all places, a feminist:
“You can safely assume that you’ve created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do.”

Oh, goody. Another “lifestyle” Bible, to put next to the golfer’s Bible, the green Bible, etc.

Please don’t lump us in with those idiots.
