Can do the same with the XD (it’s a little easier because you can crank on it with the narrower grip). It’s tougher to do with my Kahr P9s (smaller pistol, tougher spring).
It’s a cool gamer trick as I usually just run the slide on my thigh or my rib cage one-handed. But, hey, if it works, use it!

He must be running some really really light recoil springs…but it seems doable if you were.

A very quick flick.

I’d be worried about doing it accidentally

+1 to Daniel. The second video looks like he leaves the striker charged which will give you some help, add a light recoil spring and it’s possible…

I managed to do it on a Glock 21, stock recoil spring, striker not set at all. Fun. Probably useless, but fun.

This made me recall Dustin Hoffman’s line from ‘Little Big Man’:
“It IS possible to draw and fire a gun without touching it, but it takes considerable slit-eyed concentration.”
(I regard that movie as his finest role, and heartily recommend it.)
