As I’ve said before, I love conspiracy theories. Some of the most entertaining reading ever. I have to admit, the Paul McCartney one is new to me.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

The McCartney one is new to you because you’re too young. It was still a topic of conversation when I was a kid (pre-teen, ca. 1974). You don’t hear about it much anymore.

“Paul is Dead” was the creation of Fred “Too Slim” LaBour, bass player of Riders In The Sky, when he was a student disk jockey at the University of Michigan.
I don’t believe that Oswald acted alone, because no man with a Mannlicher-Carcano can ever be said to be truly alone.
Baudelaire said the Devil’s deepest wile is to convince us he does not exist. Would that qualify as a conspiracy? Because if it is, it’s a big’un.

The McCartney one was big. The Sgt Peppers album cover was supposed to represent Paul,s death. Flowers that looked like they were covering a casket, on the front a hand is over Paul’s head that is supposed to be some kind of symbol of death, on the back of the cover Paul is the only one with his back facing the camera. There’s a lot of other “death” symbolism the album. Abbey Road had Paul on the cover walking barefoot. Meaning death becasue people are supposedly buried with no shoes on.
