Quote of the day
Summing up the media treatment of NRA:
The Intelligencer Journal /Lancaster New Era negligently published a story that questions the NRA’s solution to the problem of “illegal guns” without calling and asking us.
My understanding from NRA folks I’ve talked to is that the press rarely calls them.

Markie Marxist sez: “Talk to the NRA? That’s collusion with the enemy! Any of our Marxist/warrior/hero/journalists do that, and they could be fired. Or at least not be invited to parties. No promotions either, for exercising bad judgment. And take away their free parking spaces too!”

I’ve often wondered (rhetorically) why the MSM will cite–as gospel truth– quotes from people who fear and loathe guns, and simply want them all rounded up and destroyed. People who have neither love nor interest in guns at all, other than to see them denied to everyone except police and a few hypocritical celebrities.
The reason I and so many others distrust these media, is because they FAIL to involve the very people who know something about guns—hunters, shooters, collectors, and the NRA as a whole. These knowledgeable people are demonized as ‘The (Evil) Gun Lobby’, falsely accused of supporting murder, lawlessness and outright chaos. Their input is utterly ignored and dismissed out-of-hand.
