Firing 45GAP in your 45ACP revolver? I would think that the 45GAP may be a bit high pressure for that.

.45 GAP is still lower pressure than the magnum rounds for which N-frames are usually chambered.

Yeah, I’m not too worried about blowing up my gun – you can fire some really hot .45 ACP +P+ rounds through the 625, and GAP isn’t as hot as those.

The 625 will work fine. Clark’s custom guns rechambers these to .460 Roland, hint hint…
Now the cylinder has a lot of freebore. I am sure the .45 GAP will lower it’s pressure before the bullet gets to the forcing cone. So no biggie either.
I regulary shoot .45 Supers and .45 SMC through my Smith 625. Very nice!
