I don’t know if you could call it racism to want to protect people whom you believe are stupid and incapable of participation in the process because of their skin color.
Couldn’t it just as easily be a decorating decision? Perhaps they just think black provides a better color contrast and makes a more attractive view in amongst all that white cotton theys bees pickin’.
Or it could be racism. Ain’t that a bitch? Black folks so ashamed of their color that they try to put their brethren back on the plantation, as a way of saying “See, we bees good n..uh, folks, not like them stupid ni…. uh, folks.”
