If you read the article that Ridenshoot linked, you would see that no one in California, Governor or not, needs a motorcycle license if they have a sidecar.
I’m still not sure why he says that the crash was Arnie’s fault, since the car allegedly backed out in front of him. I was hit by someone when I was backing out of my driveway a few years ago, and I was the one at fault. “Failure to yield to oncoming traffic”, or something like that.

I live in CA and I wrecked my motorcycle about 11 years ago. I had no license at the time. The cop showed up in the ER, asked for enough details for a report, then left. No ticket. Guess he thought I’d been through enough that day already.
I do have a license now, though…
