Narrative takes a blow
Remember how those rednecks supposedly killed a census worker and wrote ‘fed’ on him? Yeah, could have been a suicide.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Obviusly GUILT ridden for outing his fellow Americans with the blatent abuse of the census to attack freedom by our current COMMIE administration.

People often bind their hands with duct tape and scrawl FED on their chests before hanging themselves.
Sure it could have been suicide. It also could have been an ACORN worker. It could have been any of a number of things. But the FED on the chest thing makes the anti-govt nutbag theory totally reasonable to entertain. Minus that, not so much.

Spook45 sound like he could have done it.

Or it could have been someone from the massive pot growing industry in the area.
I’m sure they would have had more than enough reason to be scared of/angry at “FED”s.

If his hands were bound, that does make the suicide angle less likely.

D2K raises an entirely plausible scenario as well.
But while pot growers would have a motivation to kill anyone who stumbled onto their plot, it seems unlikely that they would bother to write FED on them, which makes it seem like an ideological killing meant to send a message, not like a killing with self-preservation as a motivation. Especially since doing so in such a high-profile manner would bring more attention—federal and otherwise—into the area.
Seems like someone protecting the location of their grow area would bury the body and try to make it disappear, not use it as a signpost.

Perhaps there really wasn’t anything scrawled on his chest.

After reading the link and the eyewitness (Weaver’s) account, not so sure your “Narrative takes a blow” assertion applies.
