Don’t drink and pack
The Mo. Supreme Court says it’s not just a good idea, it’s the law.
Update: More from SIH:
A man drunk at home is charged with having a firearms while intoxicated. It seems to me that the public has an interest in a person not carrying a firearm in public while intoxicated, but the states power to reach into the home ought to be considerably diminished. Should someone be charged because they are intoxicated at home, but have a loaded pistol in the bed stand upstairs, or have a rifle in the closet?

So…if a bunch of guys come in from hunting, stack their guns (in travel cases) on the living-room floor, and each one grabs a beer from the fridge in the kitchen…
What happens?

One wonders if they would apply this law to the police officer who keeps his service revolver on top the the fridge who then has a couple of drinks at home when not on duty or on call.

Anti-gunners will reach for any excuse, however ridiculous.

Markie Marxist sez: “Why? We Marxists own everything, including your home, and we act like we own it too! Ha! Ha! All your home and your guns and your beer are belong to us!”

Shouldn’t this theory also apply to the car in the garage ?
