Sporting use of a firearm, ok. And they even found a police sergeant to do the shooting with the duck hunting shotguns, bacause god forbid the NYT mention that an ordinary citizen might use a gun legally.
Any other use of firearms mentioned in the NYT typically is associated with killing large numbers of children.
Relevance, thy name is not associated with the NYT.

The gun had a nice “fuse”? Haven’t heard that one before.

I’ll bite: What’s a gun fuse?
It also had a nice fuse not shiny and went straight from looking good out of the box to the field without any issues.
