The quad stacker is new to me. A gun shop up the road from me has some of those 100 round half-moon mags. I can’t imagine either are particularly reliable though.
I still prefer my SKS and a pocketful of stripper clips.
But it makes me wonder if the new Kel-Tec PMR-30 doesn’t use a similar system for their double stack .22 WMR magazine. According to Oleg, it’s a separated double stack to avoid rim-lock.
IIRC the quad stack was originally made for a prototype weapon with a pretty high rate of fire. I would love to get my hands on one just for the hell of it.

Never seen anything like that quad stack before…

I have seen those very mags at gun shows several times.
I prefer the 75 round drums.
