Hoplophobia
What a terrible life that must be – seeing monsters behind every fence, living in constant fear. It’s no wonder so many gun control advocates are mentally imbalanced, that kind of strain would be nearly impossible to bear.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

That is exactly the world I live in at home with the Beloved Spousal Unit. Once upon a time, 30 years ago, her mentally ill first husband put a gun to her head. (Nothing bad happened.) Now even my gun magazines have to be hidden because pictures of guns scare her. It’s why I pocket carry or IWB carry under a tucked in shirt. She does not see it as my responsibility or obligation to protect her and would prefer that A mugger take her life than me defend it. Uncomfortable doesn’t begin to describe this circumstance at my house.
