PSH and stupid all in one: The NRA is a money laundering operation for arms dealers
Complete with references to sexual insecurity. After all, gun owners are just compensating for the size of their penises.
And there’s that whole bit about how liberals should forget catering to gun owners. Yup. Because that would work out so well for you.
A way to suppress a short barrel rifle without paying the NFA tax. More here. That is pretty cool.

Had a good time. I did, of course, warn that the low cut top she was wearing wasn’t a good idea. I’m not opposed to it and actually am a fan of the look but brass is hot and tends to travel in that direction. Lesson learned. Anyway, here’s a 7 yard group with the 22:
Not bad. So, NK, that solution already taken care of. But not the solution I’m looking for.
Based on comments and some law enforcement types, it appears that Fox OC is the way to go.
Pepper spray and such. What’s a good brand? For the Mrs. And, heck, I’d get one too.
At a parking lot once, someone became a bit too friendly with the kids. I wasn’t there. The Mrs. said she thought the guy may have been thinking about snatching my girl. And, in that situation, I imagine a spray is more effective. Sure, it will hurt the kids but not seriously. As opposed to a stray 45 round.
Career thug in Baltimore takes a hunting handgun to his probation officer’s office. Gets killed by police. The police blame the justice system and not guns.
Man pleads guilty to possessing a Vulcan. In NJ. So, if you have the proper paperwork (forged), the Navy will let you walk out with a minigun?
As promised in the last music post, this week is kids’ songs. One of the things about kids is that you get exposed to all kinds of music. A lot is bad but a lot is good too. We’ll talk about the good stuff. And, of course, you get to expose your kids to music as well. It used to be a tradition that every night the family would watch Jack’s Big Music Show. It’s a great show with good music. Like Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town:

The supposed picture of a fourth generation Glock seems to be creating some buzz. Some folks think it’s a photoshop and some folks are just unexcited. I cannot confirm 100% that it is a real photo but I’ve had at least one person who has handled a Gen4 tell me it is authentic. This post at GlockTalk says the image came from the latest Glock calendar. And Steve notes a firearms distributor has the Gen4 guns listed on their site, confirming the order of release.
That said, one of my sooper seekrit sources sent me an email confirming that the pic is legitimate. They say they have handled the gun. And they pass on a bit more info about the new Glock. And here’s what I gather:
The Gen4 will replace the Gen3 and RTF models. I don’t think the RTF models were all that popular anyway.
The magazine release will be bigger.
The 2 larger backstraps lock in on the bottom (where the open gap is now) and lock securely on top with the trigger group pin. The larger backstraps are solid. The larger backstraps may cover up that dust collecting hole at the bottom of the grip. My source cannot recall.
The finger grooves are a little less pronounced than the Gen 3.
The Gen 4 uses a double captive recoil system ala the G26/27/33. To accommodate this, the area in the frame below the recoil rod is more cut out. This reduces perceived recoil. It also should take care of the problem of malfunctions caused by limp-wristing the grip. And should eliminate reported failures to eject when a weapon light is mounted.
Other internal parts are the same.
On magazines, old mags will work with the Gen 4s if the mag release is on the right side. If a shooter changes the release to the other side they will have to use new mags that have an additional cutout for left side release.
Note: I have personally not seen the Gen4 Glock. So take all of the above with a grain of salt. Some info may not be accurate. But we loves us some gun rumors. I will note that my sooper seekrit sources have yet to be wrong regarding Glock rumors.
Kinda funny. Most politicians want endorsements. Except when they come from The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership. Reid’s opponent denies it and says it’s part of a dirty campaign tactic meant to discredit him, since “a Brady call in Nevada is not a positive call.”
Harry Reid, for all his faults, is good on guns. And is probably why gun control bills don’t even make it to the floor.
