Which is why I don’t trust any confidential information to the cloud. Fortunately, I’m not in a position where I need to keep anything confidential on my phone, since there is no desktop sync for the Palm Pre (one of the very few things I’m not happy about – overall it’s a very good smartphone, with lots of potential).
Information is only secure if you are the only one who controls access to it.

There is a legit 0-day that got dropped on Google.
It’s in the wild right now. CVE-2010-0249.
Effects IE6. Not applicable to IE7 or IE8 IFF DEP is turned on.
No patch at the moment. No patch expected until 2nd Tuesday in Feb.
Only solution: on IE6, migrate to IE7. Or, run IE6 in a Virtual Machine.
Better: migrate to Firefox.
