Brady not a fan of Brown
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Ownership is not a fan of Scott Brown, which partially makes Brown OK in my book. Claiming he may support national concealed carry:
Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Campaign, said that a Brown victory could lead to passage of federal legislation that would force Massachusetts to allow out-of-state residents to carry loaded, hidden handguns in the state. This would include states with much weaker concealed carry laws like Florida, Louisiana, Alabama and Alaska. Currently, no out-of-state residents are allowed to carry guns in Massachusetts.
They endorsed Coakley.

Ol’ Paul, he sure likes to hit on that “loaded, hidden” meme, doesn’t he? Always gotta suggest that concealed carry is somehow evil.
Well TAKE THAT, Brady Brats! YOU LOSE!!!!

If Paul doesn’t like my guns “Loaded and Hidden” maybe he’ll go to bat for us against police chiefs who revoke gun permits for the “Bad Judgement” of open carry.
Nah, I didn’t think so!

I’m sure this will not come as a shock, but they’re full of shit. MA issues non-resident permits to carry, they’re just expensive as all get-out and they make it a pain in the ass to do…

Yes, the Brady Bunch endorsed Coakley…
It impressed her and her staff so much that they forgot to mention it.

Helmke’s gotta feel a little bit like shit when he has anti-gunners ignoring him.

And when you talk about Alaska, remember that this fine state still has a Concealed Carry Permit for those that want to go through the hoops to get a recognized permit for those states that require an actual physical identification. Otherwise, carry on!
