I question the target
In Venezuela, state owned news outlets are reporting that the Haitian earthquake may have been caused by the US military and their sooper seekrit weapons of evil. Because, you know, if the US was going to send an earthquake to a country, they’d pick Haiti first.

Clearly we should have tested our technology on Venezuela first, since they were clearly on to our little secret.
We couldn’t chance screwing up our goverment-sponsored cocaine movement out of Columbia, though.
Riiiight…

My friend Hugo Chavez is right about what happened. He’s always right about these things because he knows how these things work because he’s experienced it firsthand because he’s there because he’s where it matters because he’s where it’s happenin’. This is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?

Well they said we were TESTING it on Haiti before we deployed it on Iran … that would probably be a good way to approach it 🙂

That’s the same level of logic as “the evil Bush had a super secret conspiracy to destroy the WTC to drive us to war in Iraq… and then couldn’t be bothered to fake up finding some WMDs to make it look justified”.
I guess it might play well enough in Caracas, though, and that’s all Chavez really cares about here.

Testing on Haiti my ass.
The plan was to bury Chavez and they were getting it sighted in.
Apparently they could have used a bore-sighter though.
