If the 1000 gun estimate is correct then they have produced over 25000000 weapons in the last 70 years. I have always been impressed with these people’s craft. I have a gun book/magazine from 1980 or so that has similar articles. Nothing has really changed in 30 years. According to the magazine they are quoted as saying that their guns are the only way to keep freedom.
Been using parts of this video for years, I haven’t seen this cut before, thanks.
This video shows exactly how futile gun bans are. If an illiterate tribesman with hand tools living in a clay hut can make guns of that quality imagine what a motivated engineer or somebody with an auto-body shop could do if properly motivated.
About eight or so years ago PBS had an hour show on the region; they were making everything from AKs to Enfields to Dash-K heavy machineguns.
And some of the shops almost made my blacksmithing setup look high-tech.
Friend was shown a #1MkIII Enfield a few years back that, without very close examination, couldn’t be told from something out of a British armory; they’d even duplicated the Brit proof-marks and such.

Just FYI This is a rehash of an old article. If you notice they mention 2006 in the article.
It looked familiar to me as having seen something similar in the past
