Mosin Nagant?

Be a little tough to shoot from the prone (which, in a combat rifle, is sort of mandatory).
And ugly? Man, that thing is so very, very, butt freakin’ ugly.
Those things are called “trench mags” and they are for exactly what their name implies. The Mosin Nagant’s standard magazine design makes it difficult to add a trench mag to it so it’s not so common to see examples like that.
There are Rem 700s and such that have been set up to take M-14 mags too. That Nagant mag sure looks long. Is it single stack like the original?
