Right now, the daughter (seven) who has great Google Fu, is sharing mine and mama’s ThinkPads. But it’s time she had her own computer and I’m thinking Mac. Because it’s what they use at her school and it’s easy to childproof, not to mention that there’s very little, if any, malware for it.

I don’t know about their personalities, but their products are definitely overpriced (in the sense that you can get much the same thing elsewhere for less.) But you know, I could have paid $600.00 for a toilet in a pretty pastel with curliques, that would do the same job as the plain-jane white one that I bought off the shelf for $150.00. It’s up to us to be intelligent consumers.

Most people don’t own the software they purchase. That’s why it’s called a license agreement. Is your TiVo open to install windows on? What about your microwave? What’s the difference?
