Methinks there is an awful lot of over-analyzing going on in the political advertizing world. Just run a genuine conservative, small ell message and you’ve got ‘er licked. ‘Tain’t rocket science, that is, unless you’re trying a thousand and one ways to fool the public. Yeah, then you need to really think about it. I think that’s part of why some conservatives are considered to be “simpletons”. Simple in the sense that they don’t have to be tap-dancing around their contradictions all the time, yes.
Hint; if you have to hire an army of marketing consultants, you’re already off on the wrong foot. If you had the right set of principles, you’d already know exactly what to do. But I understand fully that this advice will roll off like water off a duck. It happens every time. (Failing restaurant owner; “I can’t understand why no one is buying my turd and vomit sandwiches. My presentations are always impecable– FAR better than the advertizing from that stupid BBQ joint down the street.”)

“…he served as a member of the McCain for President media team working closely with MH Media to execute the campaign’s winning media strategy during the primary election season.”
So…either he dropped the ball bigtime in the general or he quit early in embarrasment over having helped nominate the least-electable ‘pub since Bob Doleful.
