why yeas they do have a n experation date, but it doesnt matter that much. ITs still better than no vest at all. FYI, in the early 2000s there were a number of vests made buy….I think it was point blank body armor that had a new lighteer material called Zylene(ithink that is it, been a long time since Ive had to recall this info) anyway, seems the R&D testing didnt go far enough and the material itself degraded at a more rapid rate than first though and there mmany officer shot and killed wearing those faulty vests. Do a little research and you should be able to find it. I remeber ther a LOT of those vests floating around the open market at that time because a lot of people couldnt make good on the recall as I recall. BUY MORE AMMO

They due expire the minute you shoot them. Whether the occupant expires is whole other matter.
