I guess they figure if they’re gonna have a Kent State on their hands, it ain’t gonna be no stinking National Guard flunkies.
It is pretty surreal that a “Gun Free Zone ™” would use $10K for EBRs, or ‘patrol rifles’, or whatever you call them now.
Aside: the first time I heard the term “patrol rifle” was when our local township Barneys were lobbying for AR15s for their cruisers. The first thing that jumped into my mind (after “I thought they already had those”, of course) was,”They operate in suburbsfor G*d’s sake…why don’t they get some M-1 carbines???”
