Seems that way
Guav:
It’s gotten to the point now where you can just assume that every single anti-gay GOP politician fucks dudes regularly
Seems like they act all anti-gay to divert attention. I dunno.

Maybe they go all homophobic for the same reason little boys dip little girls’ pigtails in inkwells?

Some of the most vehement homophobes are that way because they are afraid of or hate the fact that they themselves are gay. When they eventually accept the fact that they are gay (or act on it without accepting it), they are so afraid of the very hate they perpetuated, or so filled with self-loathing, that they continue to lie about it until they are caught.
All this is a natural and foreseeable effect of the stigmatization of homosexuality.

Gladdens my true blue liberal hear to see some toleration for our fellow man here.

Not all GOP nuts are gay,
I’d say only about half,
The rest are into kiddy porn.

“‘I do not think Cary Grant was a homosexual or bisexual. He just got carried away at those orgies.’
–US congressman Bob Dornan”
I think politicians are just used to fucking everyone and everything.

Only six comments, and guy beat me to it.

Hmm, so if an anti-gay politician is actually gay, then a anti-Left-wing, low tax, small government, pro-liberty Republican is…
Probably Tam has it right, but I view politicians as more pathological than a kid in puppy love trying to get attention. Maybe he fell for all the charges of homophobia against the GOP, which led him to mistakenly believe he had to publically denounce gays to get elected.
One thing’s for sure; this is strange.
guy; just because one may be homosexual doesn’t necessarily mean he’s ultra promiscuous, though you’re right about politicians. They’re also accustomed to misrepresenting themselves and their motivations, which might be the simplest explanation here.
I think politicians are a bit more used to fucking us, rather than fucking other politicians. In that case they’d be more politically heterosexual.
I’m so confused.

Well, I have always been suspicious of gays and anti-gays. Uh huh, if either of them felt they had to make a point of it, I had always figured they were campaigning for something that I would have absolutely no interest in, except when their agenda would somehow harm me.
It is not my business if someone is gay, nor is it my business if someone is anti-gay. That’s right! I feel no compulsion to bother with either. Unless, of course, they cause harm to me or others, even each other.
Seriously, how many of us would feel called to action if some woman said “I like to fuck men.”, or some man said, “I like to fuck women.” Not me, again, IT AIN’T MY BUSINESS.
Now what does piss me off is when one of the players decides he/she must make me pretend to care and espouse his views or suffer some consequence. I can be really ugly about that crap.
I do share, though, the same revulsion of hypocrites as every other decent person. I don’t care if your gay, I do care if you throw gays under the bus because somehow you think I will approve and support you. Doesn’t have to be about sex, either, I would be just as incensed if an okra eater did the same.

It’s not just the GOP – it’s pretty much any politician. I do, however, wonder about the dogcatchers.
