Actually, I – like alot of you I’m sure – already do this sort of thing on a excel spreadsheet, though not as pretty looking. Range visits, dates, guns shot, ammo used, with ammo used subtracted from ammo purchased on a seperate sheet, to keep a running inventory.

Right. Like I’m going to cyber-register my firearms on any online system.

I’d like this if it were a downloadable version to “stand-alone” on my PC. But no way in hell am I putting any sort of that data onto a site that FedGov can get to with a simple subpeona.

Of course, I’m aware that IDPA, ISPC, NRA and other scores are posted online. Even the type of weapon used. Moreover, bloggers such as Caleb routinely detail what they did, how they scored and critique their own performance with specific weapons in their inventory or loaned to them for evaluation.

But to go so far as to list one’s guns by type and serial number, ammo inventories, range performance and other details is just way too much of a road map with which to tempt the corruptocrats.

No thanks, I’ll keep that much detail to myself, and off of the net.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
