By the time I get to Arizona
The AZ press is pooping its britches over a couple of pro-gun bills. They get style points for evoking the Wild West but lose out on lack of dick jokes.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

They start talking about the wild west everytiime a pro-gun bill is in the works. Good news is that the Guvna is most likely going to sign these bills.

A little more “Wild West” wouldn’t hurt the folks in Chicago or NYC, far calmer than what they have now.

I’m here in Arizona right now, and read those articles. They are pretty much standard hoplophobe regurgitations. The same article could have been written last session when the AZ State Congress changed the CCW laws to allow for carry in restaurants. A very good example of what Robb Allen refers to as PSH. The second directly refutes the findings of law enforcement trainers, in that any sort of resistance can cause the shooter to decide he is finished, prompting suicide. Crossing my fingers that the new legislation doesn’t hit any snags… and the Arizona Republic writers (anonymous writers, at least in the paper copy) have a supply of underpants handy, as I’m sure they will soon be soiling themselves over the LACK of blood running in the streets.

Doesn’t matter how far it gets. Knowing Brewer she will never sign it. She’s just as bad at Napalitano when it comes to gun bills.
I live in Phoenix and I wonder how “the bird” from the New Times is going to react if it does pass.

Shawn, what are you talking about? Brewer signed every pro-gun law we sent her last year, including several that Napolitano vetoed, and has given every indication that she will sign them this year as well. Her office has been working with legislators on Constitutional Carry to make sure it passes.
