We have this looney idea that living in Cuba is like living in North Korea.
It ain’t paradise and political and social freedoms are sorely lacking, but it’s not one giant gulag either. Cubans that I know and have met are pretty proud of Cuba. The guy wanted his son back. It ain’t like we sent him off to Auschwitz.

The boy went back to live with his father; looks like he’s doing ok to me.
