since the employees of the sheriff’s office are armed, and since failure to notify is most probably a misdemeanor or tort with no prescribed penalty they could walk on that with no problem, however being armed during the commission of a crime is a felony. They could do hard time for that. Anyone believe it will happen? Where did the “pile-on” go?
