If you’re going to have one of those blueprinted, and you should if you’re going to build a custom rifle, for the cost, you might as well just get a Stiller Predator/TAC30 or a Surgeon RSR, or similar Remington clone actions, which all run around $800.
Seems strange to me to pay $450 for just the action when I’ve paid less for a brand-new 700ADL. If you don’t want the barrel/stock/etc., just sell them. Bud’s has a 700SPS in .223 for $528:
I don’t get it either. $450 (plus FFL) seems spendy for a set of parts I can pull out of a functioning rifle in the $600 range (plus FFL) or find used. Am I missing something here?
And by working with a donor gun, I can function test it before the rebuild.

I noticed that Brownells has their ad at the top of your page.
Good for them and good for you. New media is the way to go.

I would think it’d be pretty easy to get well over $100 for the barrel/stock/trigger/etc.
