The parent of an injured VT tech doesn’t want the “gun lobby” to shape firearms safety training. Anyone else smell a rat here? “Gun lobby” isn’t usually a term you just pick up, sitting in the emergency room. Sounds like a case of Sheehan Syndrome to me. Which is, you know, sort of putrid, morally speaking.
On top of that– have you ever watched an anti-gun activist handle a found weapon? Don’t stand close.
