Two optics
This is actually common among practical rifle shooters and three gunners. Scope for longer range and tilt the gun for close range and faster shots. And you just tilt it for a fast transition. You can see Miculek’s set up here.

Optics have become so unbelievably better in the last forty years. When I started shooting, adjustable scopes were totally unreliable and unless you had all the money in the world a 4x fixed was what you used.

Mounts too. I was so grateful for the invention of superglue because automotive loctite did not keep the screws from shaking loose.

A parallax-free red dot that is more rugged than the gun on which its mounted, has battery life measured in the tens of thousands of hours, and is equipped with a no-tools-needed return-to-zero mount is more science fiction than any rifle depicted in Aliens…

If you adjust the red dot properly, you wont need to tilt the rifle ( much ) to use it.
