Well, in other contexts (fornicate + boobs) I think it’s what’s commonly called a “Russian.”

The word that the US economy is in the dumps has reached Mexico. As a result, far fewer job seekers are risking their lives on the desert route than they did in more prosperous years.
On the other hand, far more criminals are making their way across the border. Something reflected in the report that 83% of Phoenix’ homicide warrants are issued to illegals. And the fact that almost half of all US homicides are attributed to illegals.
Truth be told, if it were not for the criminals coming across our borders our “immigration problem” would be far less critical than it is. After all, los Chicanos want to earn enough to set themselves up in a small business or craft at home. Most don’t want to be here, and once they earn enough pocket lining for a start, most would be glad to go home to stay.
Those who do want to stay are the small number who really want to emigrate, an equally small number of criminals running from the law, and those seeking a free lunch who want to take advantage of our welfare system.
The first should have a legal route if they have a salable skill. The others need a slow trip to their own country. For whatever consequences that may entail.

I think the word’s original meaning refers to an act of sexual humor or dirty joke. Refer to the book “Rationale of the Dirty Joke: An Analysis of Sexual Humor” By G. Legman.
Sherrif Dupnik used the term “political fornickaboobery” in reference to the Arizona bill. I think what he meant was that the bill is a joke and all the lawmakers who passed it are in on it.

It just sounds stupid. At least choose a word that has some reference ,however vague pertaining to what is going on. Sounds like something bush jr would come up with.

I think it is just a “printable” and “speakable” (for T.V. interviews and such) word that translates: “(That’s)f#*@ing stupid!” Similar to the age-old military term “fubar.” I must also say that my opinion is just the opposite of the “sheriff” who used the word. I think what is fornicaboobery on a grandiose scale is the feds refusal to ENFORCE long-standing laws on the books that are there for very good reasons.

Sheriff Dupnik was basically just saying “WTF?!” in regards to this bill.
Wether you agree with the bill or not, there’s lots of “WTF?!” moments we all have when we hear about some of the ridiculous things shove down our throats. We all need to speak out against all this!
That’s why we now have http://www.fornickaboobery.com. So we can start calling out all the political fornickaboobery.
Sheriff Dupnik couldn’t have put it any better. It’s simply political fornickaboobery!

rickn8or, that’s not a bug, that’s a feature. The Sheriff is a civilian, as are all of his deputies. He, and they, are just fellow citizens delegated by the rest of us to help keep order when we’re too otherwise busy making a living.
