IF the bill gets to the Govenor’s desk, he will not veto it IF he abides by his oath to the State Constitution, Article I, Section 26, to which this bill is directly pursuant. But if he aspires to another office in the Obama Administration,an anti-gun rights position will be desirable and he may veto it for his own purposes.

I am optimistic that the General Assembly will resolve the differences in conference and that we will get a good bill to Bredesen.
I hope that he refrains from vetoing it this time.
If he does, his party’s legislative candidates will bear the burden of being anti-gun rights.
