Also funny: headline says “Gun Misfires” but clearly it didn’t misfire. If it did, then no one would have known about it. And, they say police found a “9mm shell.”

Notice that the “Timely Warning” is datestamped an hour after the incident ( I got one in my email – I teach at a college on that campus – nearly two hours after the incident ). Obviously a bit untimely if I was supposed to duck.

BTW, a Colorado court of appeal just overturned a district court decision upholding the Auraria ban on firearms for CCW permit holders.

Wonder if they meant shell casing? They also dug the bullet out of the wall. I guess the owner of said 9mm pistol high tailed it out of the restroom along with her gun after the ND. Had to have been loud as hell in a confined space like a bathroom…hope her hearing is still ok.

Wonder if her pants were down or coming down, because otherwise I know I would’ve shat myself if I had an ND in public like that, especially if I was defying a campus ban in the process. Wonder if she got caught on surveillance camera? Hope she eludes police so she can continue protecting herself (and maybe invests in a better holster).

That’s unfortunate. Hope they don’t catch her, and I hope she learned a lesson from this and gets a holster/better holster.
