Guns in cars
Which I was starting to get over because the FOP was good on concealed carry laws. Now, the FOP gives me another reason to to not give them money.
Rep. Carolyn “the shoulder thing that goes up” McCarthy:
Once again, I am not against people owning and carrying their guns, nor am I attacking an individual’s Second Amendment rights.
Insane or realizes she’s losing?
The bill is coming. And the usual suspects are pooping their pants. A zinger:
So I can visit a bar and somehow make reasonable decisions about a 2000 lb projectile (my car) but I can’t possibly make reasonable decisions about 147 grain projectiles. Got it. I think.
The National Rifle Association announced its support for critical legislation being introduced in Congress today by Senators John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Jon Tester (D-Mont.), and Representatives Travis Childers (D-Miss.) and Mark Souder (R-Ind.). The Second Amendment Enforcement Act will restore Second Amendment rights to residents of the District of Columbia. This legislation is necessary because the D.C. Council continues to circumvent the Supreme Court’s historic 2008 decision in District of Columbia v. Heller.
I’d like to see his copy of the constitution:
People are being killed every day in the United States of America with illegal weapons. I love the 2nd Ammendment (sic). [But], I have a 1st Ammendment(sic) right not to be shot.
Robert Hicks of the Deacons for Defense and Justice passed away:
But his role in the civil rights movement went beyond armed defense in a corner of the Jim Crow South. He led daily protests month after month in Bogalusa — then a town of 23,000, of whom 9,000 were black — to demand rights guaranteed by the 1964 Civil Rights Act. And he filed suits that integrated schools and businesses, reformed hiring practices at the mill and put the local police under a federal judge’s control.
Police barred from penis enlargement
Forget about getting a job as a police officer in Indonesia’s Papua if you have had your penis enlarged. You won’t get it, according to local media reports citing the Papua police chief.
An ad for lingerie featuring a hot plus-sized woman is, apparently, too much for the American public to handle. Seems that the skinny Victoria’s Secret models are OK. But a little cushion is no good.
A bit back, I noted the case of a gun that was linked to 13 crimes. Seems gang members share their weapons because, despite Bloomberg’s bloviating, it’s not as easy to head to a gun show loophole as we’re told. In NY, the trend continues:
Police believe that they’ve noticed a new trend amongst gangs in NYC, with rivals sharing guns rather than heading out of state to restock their illegal firearms.
Stimulus bill didn’t work. Sure it did. It accomplished its goal of taking your money and giving it to someone else.
And no one who knows anything about guns buys the “it just went off” bit.
Acquittal in “I Didn’t Know I Was a Felon” Felon-in-Possession Case. Jury acquits based on instructions that they must prove defendant was aware he was a felon and willfully possessed a weapon.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
