I guess I just don’t really understand the .45acp AR-15. I mean, I like the idea in theory, but the one there doesn’t even use the same lower. The grease gun mags seem like a good idea at first, but they stick so far down that I wonder how unwieldy the gun must be.
On the other hand, there are easy enough fixes, I would think. Half-sized magazines would still give you a pretty fair amount of firepower while not having you trip over the gun. I would also hope that it’s not too hard to machine (or mold) an insert that goes into a normal AR magwell and can take stick mags.

A wooden pistol grip forend akin to the Thompson. Man, that would just *make* that gun…
