What a deal!!!
Only not.
You can get an apple netbook for $1,200. Or you can get fou real ones.
Meanwhile, Drang brings the funny:
Google innovates, Apple sues.

While I really like my iPhone, I hate Macs. They are fancy, but way over priced for the performance. Especially now that Windows 7 is out. My current work laptop is on par for performance with the 17″ Macbook Pro, but cost half as much.

A Dell Mini 10v plus an hour or so of my time equals a OS X netbook for about $300. Got stuck using it with Windows 7 at SHOT due to time constraints and a hard drive crash, couldn’t wait to perform an exorcism when I got home and banish that Godforsaken crap into hell where it belongs!
To each his own though. I love my MacBook Pro and hardware is not what I was paying for…the lack of Windows OS *is* what I was paying for!

THIS JUST IN: BSD and (almost) any flavor of Linux you want is still free if you don’t like Windows.

Bah… the Android interface has most of its key elements almost totally copied from the iPhone. To be fair, Apple copied much from Palm as well, but pretty much every PDA’s interface sucked until the iPhone.

So why is it that no one can make one of these claims without drastically inflating the Apple cost? It reminds me of how no one on the antigun side can talk about a .50 BMG rifle without claiming that it will be shooting down planes and using exploding bullets.
