Keep your booger-hook off the bang-switch
What’s that? He tried to use the gun as a booger-hook? Oh:
An armed 23 year old policeman in Moscow fell victim of his own carelessness. He decided to scratch an itchy spot on his nose with a gun and accidentally killed himself, the Moskovsky Komsomolets reports.

He killed himself, and somebody made up that it was an accident, because your widow loses her police pension if you die by suicide.

I would like to see a better picture of the Russian police service handgun.
The picture shows that oddball caliber of a handgun that I assumed was out of use.
I forget the caliber, but it has a lot of power.
The gun feels so sloppy, though, that I can’t imagine it being very accurate (except at close range as in the present circumstance).

I’m all for believing people do stupid things, but this is Russia we’re talking about. 5 will get you 10 that he saw something he shouldn’t have and this was his retroactive cost of admission.

“The sergeant allegedly scratched his nose with his gun and accidentally pulled the trigger.”
How could they possibly have known that if they had to break down a locked door and there obviously was no witness? Did they find a booger on the front sight of his gun?
