I got me a 452 when I got back from Iraq. The gunstore had two identical 452 Lux models, a used one and a new one. I bought the used one, because it was actually in BETTER shape than the new one, and it was $100 less!
Since I’m a machinist, I shortened and threaded the barrel to 16.25″, and modified the front sight to fit without the sleeve, and remounted it on the barrel behind the threads. It is my go-to rifle for suppressor use, and it’s wonderfully accurate as well as handy. It’s quieter than an Air Rifle when you use Kolibri ammo, even without a can.
Doug Turnbull = Case Hardened. I would also like to add that in my experience, CZ rifles are very good, but CZ pistols are SHIT and their customer service SUCKS ASS.

Case colored, or case hardened?
