Of the big cities, Honolulu has the lowest violent crime rate, followed by two cities in California. Property crime in the big cities is lowest in NYC, which is not quite 50% lower than El Paso (#5 on the list).

Picked apart? Is that slang for cherry picked? Look, let’s compare all these big cities where there’s crime and decide which one is the safest 🙂

Perhaps property crime rates are lower in places like NYC because the NYPD isn’t properly reporting crime:

And perhaps the reason Honolulu has such low violent crime is because Milk costs nearly $6 a gallon there, and thus, there aren’t many poor people there.
