That being from the days of $20 double eagles, the equivalent today would be about (6/20 * 1200) or $360. I suspect that if we had the same _legal_ environment today that the price of a comparable suppressor would be quite a bit lower.

bob r – many .22 cans that are about as good as the old Maxims are available in the $300 range. So the actual item prices haven’t changed much.
