Gun Porn
Drug lord’s diamond studded guns.
And this, just to see if you’re paying attention.
First, I’m looking for a flash suppressor for an AR-15 that is threaded so that you can put a sound suppressor over it. I know I’ve seen them somewhere but I can’t remember where.
Two, recommend me a 22LR pistol. I’ve decided I just don’t care for the Walther P22 any more. I was pondering either an Advantage Arms Conversion Kit for a Glock or a Ruger MK 22 45. The requirement is that the barrel can be threaded, though.
And suddenly we need to dispatch an ark to Nashville to get two of each country musician. Thoughts are with you folks. Looks pretty rough. 15 dead at last count.
And then someone decides to plant a car bomb in Times Square. Fortunately, whoever did it sucks at making car bombs.
Via Sebastian, they’ve caved on campaign finance reform:
The ACLU Approves Limits on Speech
On campaign contributions, a dramatic about-face.If that headline has a certain man bites dog quality, it’s because for almost 40 years the ACLU was the one major liberal organization that opposed campaign finance restrictions as violating the First Amendment. Although it supported disclosure of large contributions to candidates and public financing of campaigns to facilitate more speech, it resolutely opposed any limits on campaign giving and spending—including limits “voluntarily” accepted as the price of taking public funding.
Shame on you, ACLU.
Over at the HuffPo, Josh Horwitz (Executive Director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence) leaves comments that look similar to someone else’s comments. Damage control in place. Looks pretty damning to me. Seems to be a trend amongst anti-gunners.
In Tennessee, a nurse is suing to have their rights restored:
A registered nurse, who was pardoned of a felony drug conviction, has filed a lawsuit against Tennessee’s governor and attorney general in an effort to win back his gun rights.
The suit filed Thursday against Gov. Phil Bredesen and Attorney General Bob Cooper says the state of Tennessee is ignoring the Second Amendment rights of anyone who’s given a pardon that also restores gun rights. It is asking a judge to stop the state from denying the gun rights of people given these special types of pardons.
David Scott Blackwell was sentenced to five years in prison in 1989 after being convicted of selling cocaine in Gwinnett County, Ga.
He was pardoned by the state of Georgia after turning his life around and going to nursing school, Blackwell’s attorney said.
A look at facebook. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
Interesting to me that people complain about these privacy issues but, the fact is, people just give their information away.
That’s really what it’s called. And here’s a hysterical editorial on it.
Hey, someone we know was on FoxNews talking about the Eddie Eagle program. The debate was pretty tame.
My 9 year old nephew:
The police department came by our school to teach us about gun safety. And they sucked at it.
Followed by my other nephew, who looks at his mom and says:
Are we allowed to say sucked?
Anti-stab knives. Someone once told me that, in a knife fight, you don’t stab. You cut. Easier for your opponent to fight back if he’s just plugging a hole as opposed to trying hold all of his insides in.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
