The major difference between a polar bear and black/brown bears is that polar bears actually consider people to be food. Or so I am told.

With my animal magnetism, I’d be afraid to go anywhere with moose around. (6 deer hit in 10 years)

That bear looks a little like Sarah Palin.

Primitive human societies consider humans to be food, too. Cultural Zombies are REAL and they’re everywhere.
The bear looks like Sarah Palin, Chris? Why? Because it’s cute and it will tear your hear off if you mess with it’s cubs!

Polar bears can detect the scent of protein as far as twenty-five miles. They will travel that far to eat if nothing in between sates their appetite.
Of course humans are food to them. They require a hell of a lot of protein and fats to survive their environment and are choosy how they get it, or from where.
