I’ve had one of these for about 15 years, used it with my AMT Backup .45. It works OK right up until you put 10 more pounds on and the belt starts to get tight, and whatever gun you use it for better be really good stainless steel. Don’t even think of drawing from a seated position, and switch the fake pager out for a cell phone like device, carrying a pager is a dead giveaway.
Hmm, don’t know about how I’d like that. Although it is a little closer to something I’ve been looking for, namely a cell phone holster with an added mag pouch. Basically hide your magazines in plain sight…
I bought a couple of those about 10 years ago when Wife and I were both carrying P111s. They’re ok. Not the best, but certainly concealable. Better than Thunderwear, that’s for damned sure. The clip on the pseudopager broke on mine and I switched to carry my old candybar Nokia for awhile. That worked ok until the holster slipped off the clip and I had to excuse myself to a more private place to fish it out of my drawers.
The guys who demo these, you’ll note, always seem to wear loose pleated pants or baggy khakis. It is NOT as fast as they try to show you. Hidden, reasonably so. It takes me a good 15 seconds to get it out of there and I’m a skinny guy who wears jeans all the time.

Saw a demo of that in Charlotte this year. The guy doing the demo was a skinny little punk. Not sure how it would work on a fat-ass like me.

I’d rather have a holster made to look like a Blackberry or iPhone case. Do it right, and you can conceal a pocket pistol in plain sight.
