Speaking of Holsters
The Tennessee Department of Safety has notified handgun instructors to mention proper holster use when carrying a handgun.
Seems some one shot their dudes.
BTW, that blog is run by Liston Matthews of the Knoxville Gun Rights Examiner, who I got to meet yesterday for lunch. Nice guy. Head on over and read some of this stuff.

“I can’t see your technique; where are you?”
“I’M IN UR CLASS, SHOOTIN UR D00DZ!”

“The gun was in the appendix position. The barrel was pointing down, violating Rule 2.”
Yet another victory for Appendix Carry–the new hotness. I’m betting the instructor had sideburns and a Monkey Butt.
O.K., how many people have to get shot by these goofball unsafe practices that are foisted on new shooters to create their own niche in the market’s Charge of the 300?
You would think the death of Steve Malloy would not be in vain.

Actually according to the wording of Article I, Section 26 of the Tennessee Constitution Declaration of Rights, how you carry, that is “the wearing of arms with a view to prevent crime” is the only thing about which the Legislature has power. The State has no delegated power over keeping and carrying arms for self-defense.
